Wanderbirds Membership Dues Payment
NOTE: Your New Membership application is not complete until you
also fill out and submit the Online Wanderbirds Membership Form.
For renewing members, who have previously submitted the online Membership form we have adpoted a new, streamlined process whereby you can renew your membership simply by submitting your dues payment as described below.
So long as none of your profile information needs to be updated, you can skip the Membership Application Form. We will replicate the information from your previous submission of the form and submit that on your behalf.

How Do I Join the Wanderbirds?
Membership is no longer required to join our hikes, and we no longer require that hikers be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 (although scientific data show that being up to date with COVID-19 vaccination protects people from severe illness and reduces the chances of getting long COVID).
If you enjoy hiking with us and want to become a member of the club, you can register and pay your dues from this page. Beginning in 2023, membership dues are $20 per calendar year and include these benefits:
Wanderbirds Membership Benefits
- Members will receive invitations to our members-only social events that are always a lot of fun and typically occur several times a year.
- Listing in our annual Membership Directory, which provides a handy reference for members who want to contact each other before or after hikes. (You can opt out of this listing if you don’t want to share your contact information in this way.)
- Right to participate in club governance, including voting on club-wide issues, attending membership meetings, electing board members and holding board positions.
- Membership helps support the club and enables us to sponsor hikes every week.
- Get to know wonderful and interesting people when you join and hike with us!
